Call (970) 682-1950 today and schedule your appointment with Northern Colorado’s premier audiologist, Dr. Leann Johnson.
For your convenience, we provide a wide range of comprehensive healthcare offerings at our office. Our hearing health services include, but are not limited to:
Adult and pediatric comprehensive auditory evaluations
Your hearing journey begins with a complete diagnostic hearing evaluation. Dr. Johnson provides adult and pediatric evaluations that will produce an accurate picture of how the auditory system is responding to complex signals, such as understanding speech in noise.
Your hearing evaluation will start with video otoscopy so that Dr. Johnson can visualize the outer ear and determine its status before testing begins.
Tinnitus evaluation and treatment
Tinnitus, which is also known as “ringing in your ears” affects approximately 1 in 5 Americans and can be debilitating. You may have been told there is nothing that can be done for your tinnitus. This is not an accurate statement, while there is no CURE for tinnitus there are treatment options. Dr. Johnson will evaluate your auditory system to determine the cause of your tinnitus and recommend an individualized treatment solution.
Hearing aid consultation
Choosing the best treatment solution is not a one-size fits all method. Every patient has a different need depending on their individual hearing loss and dynamics of their listening environments. Dr. Johnson will review your hearing evaluation as well as gather information regarding your activities. Using this information along with results from speech in noise testing and your basis needs, Dr. Johnson will make a recommendation for you.
Hearing aid fitting
Just like a prescription for glasses, hearing devices have to be fit with a prescription based on your hearing evaluation. Dr. Johnson will prescribe your digital hearing devices and then verify to ensure that prescription is valid.
“I am glad I found Dr. Johnson. She listened to my concerns and has some great solutions to help me with my hearing loss.” – Joe, Keensburg, CO 80643
- Recreational and occupational noise protection: Noise-induced hearing loss is one of the leading causes of hearing loss in the United States. Dr. Johnson offers a wide variety of recreational and occupational hearing protection devices, including custom filtered hearing protection for hunters.
- Swimmer’s plugs: Molded custom ear plugs for showering or swimming.
- Musician’s plugs: Musicians are exposed to a high decibel level every time they pick up their instrument. Music induced hearing loss is on the rise in the United States. Musician ear plugs help prevent exposure to loud decibels with a flat attenuation that does not affect the quality of the music. Custom in-ear-monitors are available to enhance the music experience while performing.
